Snow on the Ridgeway is an open edition fine art giclée print of an original oil painting by Sean Monaghan, an outdoor painter based in North Wiltshire. Painted rapidly on location on the Ridgeway near Barbury Castle on a late winter afternoon, the study records the downland under a light covering of snow, the sun low and orange behind a bank of grey cloud. The painting was made fast, the brushwork direct and spare. The artwork is Giclée printed on Enhanced Matte Art paper — a 200gsm fine art stock with a natural matt finish.
