Towards Swindon, After Sunset II is an open edition fine art giclée print of an original watercolour painting by Sean Monaghan, an outdoor painter based in North Wiltshire. The second of two watercolours painted in the same session looking north from the Ridgeway towards Swindon after sunset, this study picks up where the first left off — the sky a few minutes deeper into the evening, the land below darker, the last residual warmth at the horizon almost gone. Both paintings record the same view in real time, each made directly on site. The artwork is Giclée printed on Enhanced Matte Art paper — a 200gsm fine art stock with a natural matt finish.
