Painted on location looking at the iconic Uffington White Horse, a three-thousand year old hill figure carved into the chalk Ridgeway. This oil study follows the shifting pattern of cloud shadow moving across the distinctive vale below the White Horse known as the Manger, with Dragon Hill jutting into the blue horizon behind.
